Crystal Maze at

Southampton Superbowl

 

This Crystal Maze is part of the Southampton Superbowl. It is owned and operated by First Leisure PLC and is situated just off the end of the M271. It is open every day (except Christmas day) from 12am to 12pm weekdays and 10am to 12pm weekends. In addition to the Crystal Maze, the centre also offers ten pin bowling, Laser Quest, pool, video games, and simulators. There is also a cafe, a bar and facilities for corporate / group bookings and hospitality.

How to get there:

From the M27, follow the M271 towards the docks. Turn left at the end and follow the dual carriageway into town. At the next  roundabout, take the slip road left to a roundabout underneath the dual carriageway and take the small road opposite, towards a church with a spire. Turn left before the church into the trading estate and right towards Homecare and you will see the Superbowl in front of you.

Crystal Maze factfile:

This maze opened to the public on 5th April 1993. It has the standard four zones, Medieval, Futuristic, Ocean and Aztec containing twenty-four games and a Crystal Dome. It has the only Crystal Dome which is on a raised platform; players climb stairs to enter it and exit down a long slide. Southampton is the biggest maze yet built at 5,000 square feet.
